A place for yoga classes, workshops and clubs in an inclusive, adults-only, social space. Inclusive by design. Founded by an autistic woman. Everyone is welcome.
Join us for regular yoga and pilates classes, zumba, creative workshops, clubs and pop-up events. Join our cosy co-working community and crack on in a quiet space. Pop in for coffee and cake or hang out with us at our alcohol-free social events designed to reduce overstimulation. All in a quiet and welcoming community space in Leeds City Centre.

Where is Catherine's Place?
Catherine's Place is a quiet social space with a coffee bar and lounge, and a studio for wellness and exercise classes and events. We're nestled inside The Electric Press, 14 Great George Street, Leeds LS1 3DW. We're a 10-minute walk from Leeds Train Station and a 5-minute walk from parking at the Merrion Centre, Rose Bowl or University of Leeds car parks.

What are the offerings at Catherine's Place?
We're a multi-use space, with a coffee bar, quiet adults-only lounge and a studio. Just some of the wonderful things we have going on in our spaces: weekly yoga, mat pilates and zumba classes, creative clubs, cosy co-working, wellness events, sober events, sound baths and handmade markets.

Do you have studio memberships?
We do! View our membership and class pack options here. We've got options to suit everyone, whether you are just looking to attend one or two classes a week, want to keep it super flexible with a class pack with a 12-month expiry, or want full access to everything going on in our studio.
Is there parking available?
The cheapest parking is at the University of Leeds after 5pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. There is also reasonably priced parking at the Rose Bowl, or at the Merrion Centre via the YourParkingSpace app.
Catherine's Place is an adults-only quiet space. What does this mean?
We're an inclusively-designed quiet space. In order to preserve our calm environment, we are an adults-only space.
How is Catherine's Place an inclusively-designed space?
Since Catherine's Place was thought up, it has been intended as an inclusive space for people who are neurodiverse and for anyone who craves a little peace and quiet. When it comes to design, every decision is made in line with the principles of inclusive design. We have soft, warm lighting. Our coffee machine is tucked away to maintain the quiet. We only use quiet, LoFi music, and often none at all. We use a comforting, warm colour palette, and have plenty of soft furnishings. We have plenty of choice - from our class and club timetable, to our indoor or courtyard seating, to our pick-your-own mug selection. But we know too much choice can be overwhelming, so we keep our drinks menu streamlined and simple. Our team are kind, understand neurodiversity (many are neurodiverse), and are genuinely passionate about inclusion. Come see for yourself x
